Shortly before the start of the European Championships in Sweden, the Dutch Curling team NCB presented its men’s team with a new partner, one with international allure: BAUHAUS. The DIY-store chain will serve as the team’s partner together with main sponsor Asito, which has renewed its contract with the NCB for another four years.
BAUHAUS will support the Dutch curling men on their mission to reach the 2022 Olympic Games. ‘We can really identify with the curling team. We both have strong ambitions and huge potential for growth. Together we can work towards building a successful future’, says Karin Cardinaal, marketing manager for BAUHAUS.
Main sponsor Asito has also promised its support in the race for an Olympic ticket, and has renewed its current contract for another four years. Commercial director Remko Stolk: ‘We are very proud of the curling team and of how, over the last few years, it has become a top international team. The curlers have shown what’s possible if you really believe in something, and really give it your all.’
BAUHAUS is no newcomer to the winter sports scene. They were a former sponsor of the Four Hills Tournament (Vierschanzentournee), and also sponsored the bobsleigh and biathlon teams. We are delighted that they have every faith in the Dutch curling dream.
