A Smart Medal that stores your own personal running story.

In November 2018, Nationale-Nederlanden launched the Smart Medal. This is a medal containing a chip that can store the participant’s personal running story. Participants in a running event scan their medal using the free Smart Medal app on their smartphone to access their personal Running Story: a lovely reminder of the event and the runner’s performance, including photos and individual statistics. The NN Running Story can be made even more personal by adding your own photos. Runners can also instantly share their personal running story on social media.
