KLM has been the title sponsor of the KLM Open golf tournament since 2004. In order to celebrate this and the KLM World Deal Weeks, visitors were challenged to take a shot at hitting their own ‘World Ball’. From a distance of 20 metres, participants had to try and hit a hole-in-one on a specially designed 750m2 putting green, which was shaped like a world map, and in a water basin containing 200,000 litres of water. If they managed it, they won two fabulous KLM tickets to a worldwide destination.
