Can I join in again soon?
An increasing number of families are finding themselves in financial difficulty as a result of the Corona crisis. This often means they are no longer able to pay membership fees or tuition fees for sports and cultural activities. The Youth Fund Sport & Culture helps them with this. The campaign ‘Can I join in again soon?'’ is calling on families who need help to register at magikweermeedoen.nl (site in Dutch only).
For a wealthy country like the Netherlands, there are still far too many children and young people growing up in poor families, and it has been this way for years. Now that many companies are making cutbacks or folding, unemployment, and therefore poverty in our country, will only increase. Children should not be the victims of this. We must continue to make sport and culture possible for these children.
