London calling: 10 points for Romário

Thursday evening saw the annual presentation of the ESA Awards in London, the prestigious award for European sponsorship cases.

In the category ‘Best use of PR’, was nominated for the Romário case, a case that scored no less than seven million euros in media value, and which previously won an award during the Nederlandse SponsorRingen (Dutch award for successful sponsoring in the Netherlands).

Ultimately, Paddy Power walked away with the coveted 12 points, and our publicity stunt was rewarded with an honourable second place. A beautiful result along with brands like Vodafone and AIG.
